Frank from the ExtenZe Infomercial on Blind Date

One of the versions of the infomercials for the ExtenZe male enhancement pills featured a male host identified only as “Frank.” (His hostess was Bridgetta Tomarchio.) Well, it turns out that the ExtenZe infomercial wasn’t Frank’s only foray into broadcast television. He also appeared on the reality TV show Blind Date in which a man and woman are set up on a blind date and the cameras capture all the gory details for us to laugh at. Check out this video of Frank’s blind date with a woman named Kelly:
This video was from a “Hall of Shame” segment, so it only showcased the lowlights from a previous show; I wish I could have seen the video from the original.
Many people have wondered whether the Girls on the Couch in the ExtenZe infomercial were really strippers or porn stars, but maybe they were asking that question about the wrong people. The most interesting thing in the Blind Date segment is when the announcer declares that Frank had “appeared in some racy videos for Playboy.” It appears the much of the date consisted of Kelly accusing Frank of being a porn star and Frank emphatically denying it. I guess Frank was highly offended at being associated with something as disreputable as a “porn star.”
So let it be known once and for all: Frank is NOT some sleazy porn star! He is the host of a sleazy infomercial selling penis-growing pills—and don’t you forget it!

And it should be noted that though Frank is not a porn star, the previous host of the ExtenZe infomercial, Ron Jeremy, IS a porn star.

Is it only my twisted brain, or does anybody else also feel that some of the interviewees on the street look more like drag queens than women? (Nothing against drag queens, just a curiosity.)

Sorry to keep writing more and more comments, but how can you help when you keep unearthing goldmine after goldmine?

Speaking of Frank, I did some research on a particularly lonely night and found out that his name is Frank Mercuri and the “steamy” videos he has appeared in are overwhelmingly softcore porn fare, including three Playboy Centerfold videos with Brande Roderick and Karen McDougal. Really, he is a “porn star” but does not participate in explicit sex, just simulation. You can find his resume featuring titilating titles like “Naked Secrets,” “Kinky Pleasures,” and “Insatiable Cravings.” Kind of reminds me of that gag on an Mst3k episode where Mike and the bots make up a bunch of softcore porn, erotic thriller titles that might appear on the USA network during the credits of “Outlaw”:

How can this guy replace Ron Jeremy, the Legend?

I was flipping through the channels and came across a movie on TMC called Swingers Sex Party. All of a sudden I see this guy on TV and say to my husband, “HEY is that the extenze guy???” Lo and behold it was him. HILARIOUS!

yea, the white hair guy with his ‘wife’ who says he doesnt care about the size increase, but, wants to try extenze for the ‘better performance’. He’s on the ADT alarm commercial. A burglar breaks in a house and he extenze dude calls the house and goes over a loud speaker “YOU ARE CAUGHT! WE ARE SENDING COPS” to the burglar.
