Vince Offer’s Piece of Cinema Is Now a $19.95 Infomercial Product
In a January blog post about the upcoming film from the host of the ShamWow and Slap Chop infomercials, I wrote: “I wonder if InAPPropriate Comedy will get a wide release in movie theaters or if Vince Offer will soon be reduced to selling DVDs of it on TV like he was with the Underground Comedy Movie.”
Now we know that the movie’s debut in March flopped in theaters, so instead a television station near you will soon be airing these infomercials for the InAPPropriate Comedy DVD:
Notice how Vince Offer’s name is mentioned only once in the commercial and he appears only in brief movie clips. One might have thought Vince would have made the most of his fame by parodying the ShamWow infomercial or tossing an InAppropriate Comedy DVD over his shoulder like he did with the Slap Chop.
But clearly Vince doesn’t feel good about having what was supposed to be his breakthrough movie hit reduced to just another infomercial product sold for $19.95 with a Buy 1, Get 1 Free offer.

Never let it be said that Vince Offer isn’t an effective pitchman. We have seen his skills demonstrated in the Sham-Wow and Slap Chop infomercials, and now these movies affirm those skills. After all, if he could sell backers on the idea that these two piece of garbage movies need to be made, he can sell anything.
