InAPPropriate Comedy: The Next Movie from Vince Offer of ShamWow!

Vince Offer may best be known for appearing in the ShamWow, Slap Chop, and Schticky infomercials—and for getting bloodied up by a prostitute—but his real dream is to be a mover and shaker in the entertainment biz.

In his pre-ShamWow days, Vince made the Underground Comedy Movie, a collection of tasteless sketches considered by many to be among the worst films of all time. Now Vince Offer is set to do it all over again with another movie of offensive skits called InAPPropriate Comedy. (Thanks to reader Joe Blow for tipping us off to this.)

Little information about this imminent masterpiece is available online outside of its IMDB page. Apparently the movie is currently in post-production and has a release date of 2013. All Vince’s ShamWow money has allowed him to assemble a slightly more impressive list of B-List actors for the cast this time, including Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez, Adrien Brody, and Lindsay Lohan.

Back in 2010, Offer had planned on re-releasing his earlier film as “Underground Comedy 2010” with a single new scene featuring Lindsay Lohan as a gun-wielding Marilyn Monroe. That film was never released but it looks like Lohan’s scene will be included in InAPPropriate Comedy instead.

So all you cinephiles will have to wait patiently until next year to see Vince Offer’s latest directorial output for yourself. But at least that will give you plenty of time to catch up on The Room, Birdemic: Shock and Terror, Manos: The Hands of Fate, and Plan 9 from Outer Space.
