Brazil Butt Lift Infomercial Presents the “Pencil Test”

Brazil Butt Lift is the latest product from Beachbody, the fitness company to blame for the ubiquitous P90X infomercial. As you might guess, Brazil Butt Lift is an exercise program designed to lift your butt. It is the work of Brazilian fitness guru Leandro Carvalho. Most of this infomercial is a pretty standard promotion for a workout program, until they reveal the “Pencil Test”

Yes, “you even get a pencil” when you buy the program, because a pencil is such a rare and specialized tool that few people have in their homes. One question I have is, if after doing the pencil test will people then use the same pencil they stuck underneath their sweaty butt cheeks to write notes and grocery lists?

I appreciate how they include detailed instructions on how to perform the pencil test, because otherwise people might do it with the pencil pointing in the wrong direction, requiring a trip to the emergency room for pencil extraction. Safety first!

Although I have never placed a pencil beneath my butt cheek, I can assert with confidence that my white male lack-of-ass would easily pass this test. I am so happy to find out that my butt has been “lifted” all along.

For those who think the workout routine in Brazil Butt Lift is too much work, another infomercial offers the Brazilian Secret, a panty that automatically does the heavy lifting for you. It is similar to Booty Pop, but this is different because it is “Brazilian,” not to mention “secret.”

It seems as if the infomercial world is living through its Brazil butt moment!

  • I’m going to buy this, but mostly just to get the free pencil.

  • I passed the pencil test, and I don’t even own Brazil Butt Lift! Up yours, Leandro!

  • The pencil didn’t go where I thought it was going.

I don’t know what he’s saying but the video looks good.

  • At least P90X worked for me. This program looks like crap.

  • After seeing this I did the pencil test on my 8 month old baby girl. Let me tell you she did NOT pass, the little roly poly. She will immediately be put on a rigorous diet and exercise routine including this workout.

  • I wonder if it’s a “number two” pencil. Hahah, I couldn’t resist!
