Video: See Richard Simmons Coax Men into Shaking Their Booties

Years ago, the Richard Simmons infomercial for his Move, Groove, and Lose system (which was filmed at the Apollo Cafe in Harlem) opened with Richard Simmons dancing alongside four beefy black men in tuxedos, which must have been his ultimate fantasy.
Although it might not have matched that level, this scene from his 1996 infomercial must have come close. To launch his “Farewell to Fat” program, Richard Simmons made appearance at shopping malls all across the country and made sure to invite the men in the audience to join him onstange to “shake their booties.” Check it out:
