Hi, Billy Mays Here… A Video Tribute
For several weeks I’ve had the idea of putting together a video compilation of Billy Mays saying his signature line, “Hi, Billy Mays here…” I thought it would give people an idea of just how many types of products the man had endorsed on TV commercials. With the untimely death of Billy Mays, the video becomes a tribute to the late, great pitchman:
Commercials include (in order of appearance);
Zorbeez
Awesome Auger
Mighty Putty
Mighty Mendit
Mighty Shine
Kaboom
Steam Buddy
Fix It
Handy Switch
Grater Plater
What Odor?
GatorBlade
Hercules Hook
Dual Saw
Tool BandIt
iCan Insurance (“The most important product I have ever endorsed.”)
Vidalia Chop It
Vidalia Slice Wizard
Quick Chop
Ding King
OxiClean
Orange Glo
Jupiter Jack
Big City Slider Station
EZ Bundler
Engrave-It
Green Now
Flies Away
Liquid Diamond
Gopher
I was not able to include the commercial for the Samurai Shark, because I was not able to get a video of sufficient quality.
I would like to get a comprehensive list of all the TV commercials and infomercials Billy Mays appeared in. So if you know of any others please leave a comment.

Billy Mays was one of the iconic figures of 2000s American pop culture. And a good guy, to boot.
In the infomercial world, he was, to use a horrible analogy, the Jolly Green Giant to Kevin Trudeau’s Gollum and Klee Irwin’s Rumplestilskin; a friendly, lovable figure towering over a crowd of gibbering schizters.
And he WILL be missed. Great tribute, Paul.

You forgot ESPN360.com and the surfboard which he did as a sort of self-parody.

The “Pitchmen” tribute to Billy Mays on Discovery had me all teary eyed (especially when Sully talked about him). I don’t think they have the full episode on Discovery’s site yet, but here’s a link to some clips:

I still miss Billy Mays! I saw an infomercial last night for Sham Wow! and reminded me how sad it is.

The duel saw is actually a really great product. No kidding.
