Party In The Tub Turns Kids’ Bath Time into a Swinging Disco
Believe it or not, the beginning of the following video is not from a sequel to The Exorcist or a remake of Children of the Corn. Instead, it is the opening salvo of an infomercial for a children’s bath toy called Party in the Tub:
Kids today steadfastly refuse to wash themselves, and the only remedy is to use the multicolored lights of Party in the Tub to turn bath time into some kind of nightclub/disco/rave. Use this product with bubble bath to let your kids have a foam party. Parents and caregivers are, however, strongly advised not to let toddlers take ecstasy while soaking the in the tub.
If a child reacts the way those children do at the mere suggestion of taking a bath, then instead of buying a bath toy perhaps prescription medicine, psychiatric intervention, or a good old fashioned spanking might be more appropriate. Especially for that “dirty diva” who thinks she’s a guest on the Ricki Lake Show circa 1995:
But Party in the Tub is not just for the kindergarten crowd. This infomercial lets us know that “procrastinating pre-teens” will happily clean up once you stick a disco light in the shower. What a nice touch for all those viewers who prefer their jail bait to be a few years older.
And the Tub Tizzies bonus item will finally let anyone, young or old, know what a tongue feels like when someone has eaten a massive quantity of Pop Rocks.
“Party in the Tub” sounds more appropriate as the title of one of Bob Crane’s home movies than as the name of a bath toy for kids. Buy this for your child to prepare him or her for a promising future being featured on this website.

I’m a little worried about that one kid who keeps holding the light up to his face and staring at it.
