Two Kids Infomercials Get Inspiration from 1980s Movies

I have a guest post at The Retroist blog titled Piggyback Aliens and Turbo Pak Commercials Pay Homage to Classic 80s Movies which discusses a couple of recent infomercials for kids that were clearly inspired by blockbuster films of the 1980s.

Maybe this trend re-enacting old movies will replace that of using really obnoxious jingles to sell kids’ products.
