The Divorce Pill: Yep, They’re Serious
When I first heard of The Divorce Pill, I assumed it was some sort of gag/novelty item along the lines of the Yes Dear! Pills or the Over the Hill Virillity Pill.
But the infomercial for The Divorce Pill shows that the makers of this product are serious about selling it as a remedy for the feelings of depression and anxiety commonly associated with the break-up of a marriage.
As the website says, The Divorce Pill is “Cutting edge herbal technology, specifically blended to ease the physical and psychologically induced trauma of divorce.”
So…
Are your husband’s high-priced lawyers squeezing everything they can out of the prenup, ensuring you get nothing while he parties on a yacht in the French Riviera with his nubile executive assistant? Just take a pill!
Is your wife trying to prevent you from ever seeing your children again by making baseless accusations that you have sexually abused them? Just take a pill!
The infomercial, however, misses one of the most important features: Unlike prescription anti-depressants, The Divorce Pill can be safely consumed with large quantities of alcohol.

The product contains St. John’s worth that can cause lethal interactions with prescription drugs used for depression.
…but that is likely irrelevant when you’re making a quick buck with people at low point of their lives.

I like the doctor wearing the gold chain and showing some chest hair. Straight from the medical practice to the 70’s disco.
