New Santo Gold Video Clips
June 16th, 2008 Paul Lucas
I’ve uploaded new video clips from the bizarre Santo Gold infomercial. Many people think they dreamed this thing, but this mid-1980s infomercial tried to simultaneously promote a gold jewelry money making scheme and a “space wrestling comedy” movie called Blood Circus.
First, I’ve replaced the clip of Santo singing the “Santo Gold” song with a longer version that includes more scenes from Blood Circus.
I’ve included a promo for the movie Blood Circus that occurs at the very beginning of the infomercial.
And I’ve included a scene titled “The Making of Santo Gold Process Jewelry” which is typical of the combination of dullness and strangeness that characterizes most of the Santo Gold infomercial.
Watch all the clips at the bottom of my review of the Santo Gold infomercial.

“One big team. One happy family of employees. All working together to serve you. Busy at work that they enjoy.” LOL!
Great videos. that last one kind of reminds me of some kind of propaganda film from East Germany or North Korea talking about a workers paradise

Check out santogold.com, he’s now claiming Blood Circus has been found!
And thanks for the new clips, though I really want to see the complete infomercial!

It looks like he’s backed off those comments and doesn’t have them on the site now, but I did receive a reply e-mail from him that Blood Circus would be available later this year on pay-per-view.
Site has lots and lots of typos on it.

Did I mention that at the time this originally aired I was in college and we did a sketch comedy called Null and Void on the student TV station. A fellow comedy writer had seen this travesty and wrote an epic tribute/parody sketch combing Santo Gold and a James Bond movie. It was called Santogoldfinger.
We never taped the sketch because it was far too complicated and long, but now I kind of wish that we had. Maybe Mr. Rigatuso would be suing us as well…
